Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you and Pawzlife when you create an account or use the service.
1. Marketplace role
Pawzlife provides technology that helps pet owners and independent care providers find one another, communicate, and manage care requests. Care providers are not Pawzlife employees, agents, or representatives. Pawzlife does not itself provide pet-care services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account. You may not impersonate another person or create an account for fraudulent or abusive purposes.
3. Care requests and responsibilities
Owners must provide complete and accurate information about pets, health conditions, behavior, medications, emergency contacts, and care instructions. Sitters must accurately describe their experience, availability, services, and qualifications, and must perform accepted care with reasonable skill and safety.
4. Safety and prohibited conduct
You may not use Pawzlife to harass, threaten, discriminate, defraud, exploit, or endanger another person or animal; distribute unlawful or harmful content; scrape or disrupt the service; bypass access controls; or misuse another user's personal information. Emergencies must be directed to local emergency services or an appropriate veterinarian.
5. Cancellations, disputes, and payments
Booking, cancellation, refund, and payment terms shown during a transaction apply to that transaction. Pawzlife may review disputes and take reasonable action, but users remain responsible for preserving relevant records. On-platform payment processing is not available until Pawzlife displays transaction-specific payment terms and activates that feature.
6. Content and communications
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Pawzlife a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit the content.
7. Suspension and termination
Pawzlife may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, animals, the service, or legal rights; investigate suspected violations; or comply with law. You may request account deletion from account settings, subject to lawful retention and unresolved safety or transaction obligations.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Pawzlife disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for independent users' acts or omissions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Changes
Pawzlife may update these terms. Material changes will be identified by a new version and effective date, and renewed acceptance may be required before continued use.
